Is this affiliated with McKinsey, BCG or Bain?
No. Ace the Solve is a service providing independent study aids for the McKinsey Solve ecosystem, BCG's online assessments and Bain's interview and SOVA process. It is not endorsed by or affiliated with McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company or any other commercial entity unless otherwise explicitly written.
How does the paywall work?
Everything runs on your account. Log in, buy a product, and the purchase attaches to your account instantly — your remaining runs follow you to any device. Open a solver or simulation, confirm the entry prompt, and one run is consumed server-side — you can then re-run within that session as many times as you like. Every product gives you three runs or attempts per purchase: the five McKinsey tools (Ecosystem Solver, Sea Wolf Solver, Sea Wolf Simulation, Sustainable Futures Lab and Redrock Simulation), the three BCG tools (BCG Quant Simulation, BCG Casey Chatbot Assessment and BCG Video Interview), Bain's five tools (Bain SOVA Numerical, Bain SOVA Verbal, Bain SOVA Logical, Bain SOVA Personality and Bain Video Interview), plus the Case Ace AI case interviewer, included in the MBB bundle. The McKinsey bundle covers the five McKinsey tools, the BCG bundle covers the three BCG tools, the Bain bundle covers the five Bain tools, the MBB bundle includes everything, and you can also mix any combination of products at checkout. Consumed runs cannot be reused.
Does my data leave my browser?
Data privacy is a big concern, and as a candidate you should feel confident that your e-mail, name and any other details will remain private. Buying requires a free account — that is what your purchases and remaining runs live on — but your answers are never sold or shared. Checkout is hosted by Stripe, so no card data ever touches this site. The two classic solvers (Ecosystem Solver and Sea Wolf Solver) do their solving in your browser — the scoring algorithms live in the page — and save your results to your account; the timed simulations are scored server-side and produce AI feedback reports; and video-interview recordings are uploaded for transcription and scoring.
How long will I have access to the solver for?
There's no time limit — your runs stay on your account until you use them, so you can buy now and solve later. Once you confirm entry to a solver (or start a simulation run), that run is consumed, but you can re-run within the open session as often as you like.
